First unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder SWB was based on the 250 GT Berlinetta SWB but with an updated chassis, disk brakes, and a 3.0-liter V12 engine. It also has an eye-catching hood scoop and is a collector’s dream car. One sold for a whopping $17.6 million at auction in 2016, making it one of the more expensive Ferraris sold over the past decade.

Named ‘The Supercar of the Year 2012’ by car magazine Top Gear, the Ferrari F12berlinetta has a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter Ferrari V12 engine connected to a 7-speed F1 DCT dual-clutch transmission. The aerodynamic body helps the F12berlinetta go from 0-62 mph in 3.1 seconds and 0-124 mph in 8.5 seconds. It also has an impressive top speed of 211 mph.

This two-seat grand tourer was first powered by a 3.3-liter overhead camshaft Colombo 60 V12 engine that was slightly adjusted with further models. The Ferrari 275 GTB had a sleek silhouette and was engineered to enter a number of high-profile races during the 60s, although it failed to live up to the success of its predecessor, the Ferrari 250.

This version of the Ferrari Daytona comes equipped with a 4.4-liter Tipo 251 Colombo V12 engine and is a sporty-looking vehicle named after the brand’s iconic 1967 24 Hours of Daytona win. The Daytona gained international fame when it was driven in the inaugural Cannonball Baker Sea-To-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash and managed to win with an average speed of 80.1 miles per hour, completing the distance from New York City to LA (2,876 miles) in just 35 hours 54 minutes. The shapely Ferrari 458 Italia incorporated technology from Ferrari’s dabbling in the F1 and resulted in a super-fast car that looks as good as it drives. Under the bonnet is a 4.5-liter Ferrari/Maserati F136 V8 engine capable of hitting 0-62 mph in just 3.4 seconds. It also had a top speed of 210 mph. The Ferrari Monza 500 TR came about in 1954 and had several differences from previous models, including coil spring suspension and a synchronized transmission with a two-disc clutch. This grand tourer from Ferrari has an optimized aerodynamic body that is a big reason for its incredible speed. At the time of its release, the Ferrari 599 GTO was the fastest Ferrari ever made, able to reach 0-62 mph in under 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 208 mph. Only 599 of these sports cars were manufactured, with each Ferrari 599 GTO sporting the famous prancing horse logo on one side of the car.

The Ferrari F40 was designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ferrari. Engineered by Nicola Materazzi and styled by Pininfarina, this was the final Ferrari to be given the tick of approval by founder Enzo, who passed away less than a year after the F40 hit the streets. At the time of its release, the F40 was not just the fastest Ferrari ever, but also the most powerful and expensive, retailing for a crisp $400,000. That might not sound like much, but it was five times what the previous model Ferrari sold for. The F40 remains one of the highlights of the Ferrari catalog.

One of the more recent Ferraris (2004-2009) to take the world by storm, the Ferrari F430 retained the general shape of its predecessor, the Ferrari 360, while updating a number of features. The F430 featured a 4.3-liter V8 engine with an output of 483 hp at 8,500 rpm and 343 lb-ft of torque at 5,250 rpm. Not only that, but it also had a top speed of 196 mph.

As the name suggests, this Ferrari was fairly fast on the track. The Ferrari 812 Superfast could go from 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and had a wild top speed of 211 mph. The Superfast was also the first Ferrari equipped with EPS (Electronic Power Steering) and had a bigger version of the 6.3-liter V12 engine used in the F12berlinetta.

The ‘definitive’ Ferrari (at least in name), the Ferrari LaFerrari was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. Powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engine and one electric motor, the LaFerrari was the first hybrid created by the Italian automobile company. Some of the highlights of the LaFerrari include carbon-ceramic Brembo brake discs, Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, and a body computer system developed by Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting. The LaFerrari could also hit speeds of 218 mph, which is pretty amazing.

This 90s classic was only manufactured for a couple of years, with only 349 Ferrari F50s ever produced. Powered by a 4.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, the F50 could reach 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and had a top speed of 194 mph. These days the few F50s that go up for sale can fetch up to $3 million.

The first Ferrari 360 model built was the Modena. Named after the town where Enzo Ferrari was born, the Modena had a new, lightweight frame designed by Pininfarina that forgoed the classic flip headlights of most Ferraris. The 3.6-liter V8 engine came with a 6-speed manual transmission and a top speed of 183 mph.
